Question Slur and Portamento

Hello, is it possible to control the duration and style of the slur/portamento through CCs? How can I make the slur/portamento scripts fully comply to my taste? Thanks.

For the portamento or legato scripts, CC5 controls the time of that transition between notes

I put in 1st Violins Leg Port LT 6 Ni, and the CC5 doesn't seem to affect the sound.

The true recorded legatos/portamentos (if you switch to the 'Player' window you'll see that 'Other' is selected for that) are not manipulatable in that way - those have a specific performance parameter/length from the real recorded transition.

You could load up a regular 'Long' instrument and then turn on the Portamento or Legato scripts (CC65, CC68 respectively) and then CC5 will allow you to edit the time in those scripted transitions

Yes, it now affects the portamento. The 1st Violins Leg Slur LT 3 Ni plays well with keyboard, but in a composition, it sometimes dips in volume and has a longer attack when it transitions to another note. How can I get consistent slurs?
