Default Gypsy Violin Articulation Question

Hi - I am trying to understand why the articulations listed for Gypsy Violin include 2 different articulations for the same key switch note name:

Here are two examples of that, taken from the documentation:

C 0 Sus VB
C 0 Sus VB Leg
C#0 Sus VB 2
C#0 Sus VB 2 Leg

How is this controlled, for either of these two pairings?

Thanks, for anyone who knows,

A confused Bob Bone
