1 - FEATURE REQUESTS ONLY - limit your posts to "feature requests" only, and describe in great detail (where necessary) the functionality you would like to see. Please check other suggestions before posting yours to avoid duplication.
2 - NO SUPPORT POSTS OR PERSONAL OPINIONS - any support posts will be moved to the SUPPORT section, personal opinions don't belong here either, this section is to make instrument suggestions that will be evaluated by the software team. 3 - NO PERSONAL OR PERFORMANCE ISSUES - any personal experience issues should be put in the SUPPORT section. 4 - NO PROMISES - we do not promise to implement your feature request, but if it's requested by enough users, can be implemented without adding instability to the software, it will get priority. 5 - HAVE RESPECT FOR THE SOFTWARE TEAM - Our software developers are some of the smartest in the business, and if they deem a feature request will cause too many other issues, take their word for it. There is no software on the market that has to do what PLAY does, especially with the large collections EW produces. Last edited by admin; 12-04-2017 at 09:29 PM. |

I have a general general: is it possible to create some kind of 'voting system', where people can cast a vote if they like a particular suggestion? That might save double posts. Something like the idea scale for pro tools (http://protools.ideascale.com/) (not that Avid necessarily listens to its users but that's a different story). Reaper has something similar where the most voted for ideas and suggestions make it into new features.

Ha ha - thanks for asking but I don't even know how to properly design my own website.
![]() What I was thinking of was something like Ideascale, where the 'feature requests' would be rated according to popular vote. Ideally it would be integrated with the soundsonline home page, such, that users wouldn't have to leave the soundsonline home page to get an overview of the most popular ideas. People can vote for threads right now, there's gotta be something under the hood, that with a little tweaking might make this possible. |

Why not just generic forum poll? Each thread gets a poll with a Yes and No vote. Granted, an idea has to be pretty bad for someone to vote no on it...
