Hello,
The strings have a PRO set of templates which is recommended as a starting set of articulations, but there's nothing like that I can see for brass/perc/ww (well there is a basic orchestral percussion 1 and 2). Any suggestions for good starter sets for these? The available variety is overwhelming. Thx - |

Hey danno,
yeah, there sure are quite a lot of patches to choose from. It's definitely great to have such a large variety, but setting up your template ... that's the stuff nightmares are made of. ![]() OTOH, it's a one time thing, so that's that. Unless, of course, you need multiple templates. At least you can then score the horror-soundtrack yourself. ![]() It's an old thread, but we had a nice discussion about our templates a few years back. I gave a full description of the Hollywood Orchestra stuff I'm using and I haven't really changed much of the instruments used. Feel free to check it out. Hope it helps: http://soundsonline-forums.com/showthread.php?t=50363
