Lightbulb Midi CC Customization (Mic Positions)

I recently started doing bigger templates with the PLAY engine and had some difficulties. Since I'm working on a single-machine-setup with Vienna Ensemble Pro I would like to limit the number of channels my PC has to process.

What I like to do with all of my sounds is activating more mics and adjust their volumes to control closeness and ambience, depending on the project or the context.
I would like to be able to do that without manually open every single instance and moving the sliders for every single instrument inside (We are talking about hundreds of instruments in total).

My suggestion is:
Let us be able to control the volume of single mic positions with MIDI CC.
Or let us be able to assign our own MIDI CC to any parameters inside the engine.

This would help a lot since the hardware and software environment is different for everyone. Hence it would only make sense to make PLAY more customizable and not force a certain workflow.

Have a nice day

I'm a fan of CC'ing everything in Play, there's no reason to have any limits with that IMO.

I was going to say that meantime you could write a script to change the .ewi settings file manually, only to find they are binary. There is a XML (Legacy) setting in preferences that might do it for you.
