Default What do I need to avoid underruns ?

Hi everyone,

First, i'm french so, I apologize for mistakes I could make. I'll do my best to let you understand.

I've throwed myself into a project of epic orchestral music since october 2017, and yesterday I met some issues I never had before.

I use FL Studio 12 (it might not be the best, yet it's the one I master the most), and recently I suscribed to the ComposerCloud offer. In started a new music two days ago and quickly I had some underruns and crackling sounds. It doesn't prevent me from making music, but yet it is very disturbing.

I tried several manipulations on FL but nothing changed (or almost nothing...)

So I'm wondering about my computer itself. Here is my configuration :

Motherboard : ASUS Z87-PLUS
CPU : Intel Core i7-4770 3.4GHz (Quad-core, 8 threads)
RAM : DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws X, 2*4Go, 1600MHz, CAS 9
HDD : 1 To 7200 rpm (it's the hard drive I've installed all VSTi and FL Studio on)

Now, I havn't sound card, for I don't know yet if this is the cause of the problem or not. I don't really understand where it comes from and before buying anything, I want to be sure of what i'm doing.

Thank you in advance.
