Default Mock-Ups and Weapons

Hello Mr. Powell,

Thank you for doing this. Two quick questions:

1. For the synths, beats, and all the other electronic elements of your scores, are much of them samples of yours or sounds you've created, or do you provide similar sounding mock-ups to perhaps a sound designer or someone who interprets what you've given them and creates something new?

2. From the perspective of scoring for films, what do you feel your greatest weapon is as a composer?

Best,
-Pick Bickmore
