Default What The Buffalo Saw

Hello Everyone

This is the first movement of a symphony I'm working on. Each movement will be based on the perspective of an animal throughout history. I used primarily the Hollywood library, but there are some Albion sordino strings in here as well. I was going for a big epic sound that captures the mythical American West. What do you think?

Much very fine craftsmanship in this very interesting, attractive work - in the composition and orchestration ( it sounds like you're more than comfortable with HO now! ). I like the sense of free transformation in the form.

Thanks Ken - i look forward to the following movements!

Thank you, Joseph. I have a sign up on my fridge that sez, If it's not organic, it's not a symphony. Just to remind me. But each movement will be stylistically different, as if by a different composer. I think it's a new concept, but I'm hoping it all works out.

I'm still having technical difficulties with Hollywood and my DAW. After this project is done I will seriously look into Vienna Ensemble Pro.
