Default Hollywood Choirs Surround Version

I noticed on my EW Installer list there is one for Hollywood Choirs Surround. How is that different from the regular Hollywood Choirs version? I'm not set up for mixing in surround sound, so I didn't bother with it. But I am wondering what features it has that are different than the regular version. Are there more mics? Is it pre-panned in some way? Just curious.

Thanks

The Surround Mix adds more room ambience to the Main Mix that is included in Hollywood Choirs Gold. If you look at the 'Player' window - it adds those Mic positions 12 and 13 (the back mic positions).

Okay, thanks. Might be worth downloading it to play with it a bit.

Its not only on Hollywood Choirs but also in Hollywood Orchestra. I just using Hollywood Orchestra all mics position goes to mix on Dolby 5.1 Surround for movie scoring. The results is fantastic. You will feel like surrounded with orchestra live player. I never tried Hollywood Choirs yet but i am sure the results it will be fantastic also. hopefully i tried at next movie someday.

But I don't have a surround set up right now. Just stereo. So, I don't think it'll help me much at this point. I suppose I'll need to go to surround at some point, though.
