Default 1st Violin Leg Slur RR LT 12 Ni (Hollywood Strings) Dynamics?

New to Hollywood Series. Trying to build a template.

Am I correct in thinking that when a patch with NI in the titles has CC1 taken to 0 that there should be silence ? it seems to work with 1st Violin Leg Slur RR LT 6 Ni fine but when i load the 12 patch it dosnt seem to work?

I thought the difference between 3 6 and 12 was the number of samples it uses to maintain realism?

seems todo this with both the powerful system (cc11) and regular patches (cc1)

Some Hollywood Strings patches use CC11 for dynamics and CC1 for degree of vibrato.

Others use CC1 for both dynamics and degree of vibrato, and reserve CC11 for volume.

There's nothing in the file names that immediately tells you which system a given patch uses. You just have to learn by trial and error. It's a baffling decision.

I remember reading the manual. The powerful patches have Vibrato on CC1 and Dynamics on CC11. The less powerful patches uses both on CC1.

So the 12 patch is a powerful patch and there it is spitted.
