Default Putting the entire oboe library on a single Cubase track

I own EW Hollywood Symphonic Orchestra Gold

In Cubase Elements 9.5, I want, on a single track, to be able to choose from the entire oboe library during playback.

This library is divided into two sections, being a solo oboe (SOB) and a section of three oboes (3OB). Each one contains all the different articulations. Choosing during playback from the articulations within one of these two sections is no problem. That's what the key switches are for.

The question is, how can I make Cubase choose between the sections, and this during playback?

I know how to choose one of the two sections for the entire track (using the Bank Selector in the Track Inspector), but don't know how to alternate between the two during the playback of the track.

Your advice is much appreciated.

Hi, I believe you can achieve this by using Expression Maps - it's something I haven't looked into but there's a few threads on here with details on how to do this.
Cheers

Yep, Expression maps should do the trick. You can set channel and/or key switches, so set the solo section to a different channel and then setup Expression map with both the channel for the section you want and the key switch for the articulation in that section.

Cubase Elements doesn't support expression mapping.

Default No need for Expression Maps

Hey guys, Elements 9.5 indeed doesn't have an expression map, but there is perhaps an even more elegant workaround. In Key Editor you can change the channel for each individual note. That's it! Don't forget, if you are using CCs (CC7, CC11 etc.) you need to change the channel for those individually as well.
