Sad news ... a giant has left us.

A legendary French film composer and songwriter, he was the master of crafting beautiful, unforgettable melodies, sophisticated orchestration, and to top it off he was a wonderful pianist and vocalist, as well as accomplished jazz arranger and performer.

Les Parapluies de Cherbourg, Le Mans, The Summer of 42 ... and it goes on.

The music that means so much to so many people, from an era that almost seems like a blast from the past.
