Default Getting rid of DVDs - Sanity Check

Yah it's studio clean up day , and I'm looking to throw out as many of my 150+ DVDs as possible. I'm assuming...

1. I can get rid of any DVDs of libraries listed as "Downloadable" because I should be able to get them via Installation Center.
2. Is there a way to get a hold of older library content (like my Platinum Plus stuff) in the event of a hard drive crash (via a support ticket?) - or do I need to hold onto these DVDs?
3. I assume I need to keep any pre-Play (NI) library DVDs.

What do you guys think? Interested in what others have done in this situation.

Thanks in advance!

So ... does Studio Clean Up Day count as a relaxing holiday?

1) Correct. All libraries listed as downloadable are available via the Installation Center,
which you can get here. You can check the individual library sizes in this spreadsheet.

2) The only way to get hold of the non-downloadable libraries (Hollywood Strings,
Brass, Orchestral Woodwinds, Symphonic Orchestra Platinum (Plus)) is via the
harddrive (link), which also holds all of the other libraries.

The full size of all the libraries is quite large, 832GB for Gold and 2041GB for Plat / Diamond!

3) We don't support the NI stuff anymore (so, yes, keep those DVDs), but we do offer
upgrades for the corresponding libraries, which you can check out on their respective pages.
http://www.soundsonline.com/
Click on the "Buy Now" button, then the drop-down menu under "Full Version"
and select "Upgrade" and then choose your previous (NI) version.

If you already have the libraries installed somewhere and you want to move them to another harddrive,
then read this article. If you decide to install via the DVDs, you can find the instructions here: WIN / MAC.
