Default Best Solo Cello

Just wanted to ask what is everyone's favourite solo cello.I can't seem to settle on one.Does anyone use any particular settings eg reverb etc.Are there any Cello players out there and what do they find the most authentic Cello.
Cheers
Justin

I love EastWest's Solo Cello with Spaces. Check out Burbank Scoring stage small.

Any of the EW solo Cello sound great. You can also experiment with the fx in the mixer, by adding a little subtle distortion from ohmicide, some reverb from spaces (I like the caverns for the long dark trail and deepness of tone), and some ssl eq/compression, etc./ that subtlety will take the amazing source sample quality and make it unique for yourself while still retaining the original essence of quality in the sample, thinking like this in sampling helps you come up with interesting tonal variations so every mix doesn't sound the same, but you may not want to use it on every instrument, every song all the time or with using every effect, just use these tools to taste; you can go crazy with it and make your own sounds kind of like the ghostwriter sounds where he got super experimental and distorted cello and other sounds and put fx on them. But yeah if I had to pick one patch it would be the staccatissimo patches, or the mod speed patches, for variety and adding realistic accents to the lines.

Just been playing with the cello patches in Hollywood Strings. Wonderfully lush.
