Question No dynamic crossfade in RA?

Hey everybody! Does anybody know why RA instruments don't support dynamic crossfading? The mod filter just doesn't do justice for instrument performance.

It's a bit of an older library, and for some instruments it's also a result of the way they were recorded. You'll notice that some wind instruments with vibrato have different "speeds" from NV to Vib depending on the pitch of the note (getting the same not length across the entire range is hard for some of those instruments when you play them in real life), and the Expressive kinds have different "patterns" depending on the note. This is not EW's fault (as in "recorded them incoherently"), it's often in the nature of the instruments.

Doing dynamic crossfades on the basis of instruments like that can be hard as hell. But back then, crossfades weren't really the industry standard. Still hoping for a new Ethnic library by East West with modern capabilities and technology. Fingers crossed...

That said, RA and Silk are still awesome libraries. I love the Silk Duduk to bits.
