Hi David,

I am interested how you schedule your time when working on a project. How many hours a day do you typically work? If cutting down on sleep should become necessary, how do you stay alert and healthy?

PS: love your work for Ice Age and Serenity!

First, Thanks for the nice words. I used to work around 15 hours a day, but I have learned how to do it faster in my "old age" I generally work from around noon--midnight. That seems to work best for me. It's hard to stay alert and healthy, but your love of composing, and movies gets you through. You could be unbelievably tired and then something is so interesting that you feel great all of a sudden. That's the fun of it..
