Default Tommy Boy

Hi David,

I thought I would just ask a general question about one of my favorite movies that you scored -- Tommy Boy. Is there anything that sticks out in your mind from working on this movie, either anectdotal or otherwise? Do you recall any specific instructions from the director regarding the style or sound he wanted for the music? I thought your music complemented the movie perfectly, both the comedy stuff and the more touching moments.

Thanks so much!

Thanks...I only had 2 1/2 weeks so score and we stuck pretty close to the temp music in terms of style and texture. I did get to meet Chris Farley who said my music was "AWESOME!!!" - pretty funny...just like SNL...
