Default Hollywood Harp Gliss

I know this has been asked before ages ago but can anyone explain the logic behind the note mapping and specific scale/root note choices in the HH Gliss and Gliss Angelic patches? What if I want a gliss in a different key or scale to what's available? I know I can play or write them in using the Gliss Technique patch but is there any way to adapt the Gliss patches to other keys because they generally sound much better? And if not, why not?!
