Default Provide Standard Windows Minimize/Hide on IC

When performing large lengthy downloads, it would be very useful to be able to minimize or hide the installation center with the standard Windows behavior that should be common to all programs. This would get it out of the way to do other work. In lieu of a Minimize button on a Title Bar, standard Windows behavior should toggle the program foreground/hide when the active icon is clicked. So far I have not found a way to do this - I have to manually make sure it's always behind what I'm working on which can mean resizing other windows and can interfere with workflow.

Thanks!

I second this. I have also just posted a number of other items related to the installer that would be very helpful.

Hi LMW. How can I tell my post wasn't approved. And I wonder why. Any ideas? All my suggestions seem reasonable. Cheers!

You can't. You actually managed to post directly (according to the time stamps, I missed you by eight minutes) before I approved your account for the forum (it's a spam counter-measure which we needed to implement), so any post before the approval would need manual validation from my end. And I did the next sweep a few hours later when I caught and approved it. My apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Your account should be good to go now, as is shown by your post just now showing up automatically.
