Default Gold vs Gold X

Hi everyone. I'm new here and just subscribed to the ComposerCloudX (EDU) package.

I know this was discussed elsewhere but I downloaded the Hollywood Strings Gold and Gold X packages. My questions are:
  • Do they need to reside in the same folder?
  • If the first answer is yes, then in Cubase I assume I supply the path to the one folder in the Plugin Manager?
Many thanks...

Yes, the Gold and Gold X instruments/samples have to be one consolidated folder (they’ll use the same 'Instruments' and then the Gold X should write the extra mic position samples into the Gold library.

Then in Play you load up the instrument and you can switch to the 'Player' window and load up the extra mic position from there.
