From what I understand, with the release of Hollywood Choirs on November 30th.

Well, crap. Now I need a Kontrol Keyboard. Great work, EastWest. I'm going to have to rob several banks.

No no - works fine with any midi keyboard. Save your money, unless you own a lot of NI libraries. It's just made compatible with Kontrol keyboard, meaning the keyboard shows colors or something like that.

Wonderful to see compatibility with Kontrol S keyboards (and VIP 3).

I know, I know. It's just that I really love the concept of the NI keyboard and held off for two reasons. It's bloody expensive - and I mostly use PLAY. So I thought: "Huh, if it doesn't show me colours in PLAY, I don't need it." Now Gear Acquisition Syndrome is kicking in because oh my god, it shows colours with PLAY, aaaaaah.

But I imagine play 6 will just be the next version for all instruments, not merely for this instrument only ? I bet they will benefit from it as well

Default Backward compatibility with projects using PLAY 5

Just wondering how my (Cubase 8.5 Pro Win x64) projects using PLAY 5 will behave after the update.

If I install PLAY 6 (which to my understanding overwrites PLAY 5), is PLAY 6 able to open all the right instruments with correct custom settings and parameters?

Admin, question about PLAY 6 and the 29.99.
I'm switching to a master/slave setup at the end of this month. My master has ComposersCloud X (including Choirs), my slave has my "old" iLok with my Diamond licenses. Does this mean I will have to pay to use PLAY 6 on both computers? If I don't pay, only my master can use PLAY 6?
