Default Best Solo Violin

Hi guys, I'm trying to find a very realistic solo violin, or at least figure out a way to make it sound realistic. I recently did a Schindler's List arrangement but the violin solo wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. It sounds very robotic.

EW's solo violin is very good - doesn't that work for you?

There's also a solo violin in Symphonic Orchestra which despite its age is still nice.

Remember, doing a great mockup of a solo instrument is always tough, and you can't beat a live player, let alone Itzak Perlman.

Yeah - that one's great, although a little bit over the top. I've used it with great effect on a short film, for tango music.

My fave's in order: Hollywood Solo, Gypsy / SO and then the other Solo Violin.

I think you're only using vibrato patches, right? Try combining with more
legato / expressive ones to smooth over the transition between phrases.

I've used Gypsy quite a bit but lately been preferring Virharmonic Bohemian violin.
