Default Play 5, not 6 with latest version of IC

I am trying to get Hollywood Choirs to work. Installed the latest version of IC (1.2.11) and Play 5 was installed. It knows nothing about Hollywood Choirs. What do I do? Thanks.

Is EW still setting up things on the server(s), or is there another issue?

Thanks!
Grab Play 6 from here: http://www.soundsonline.com/Support?section=updates

Default Problems with Men WB Multi

Hi,

I'm testing HCX right now and got some real issues with Men WB Multi.
They sound five semitones too low and don't proper react to the wordbuilder.
Furthermore, if loaded the mens voices, there are no phrases available.
Somebody with the same problems?
Or better - with a proper solving?

Tanks!

Did you download and install PLAY 6?

Yep. Already re-downloaded PLAY 6, Hollywood Choirs and even the Installation Center.
Still the same.
Women work fine just as they're supposed to and men mess around.

I've got the same problem. Interestingly, the Women's Choir reacts to the Wordbuilder as expected and stock phrases are installed properly, but the Men WB Multi just produces some intelligible syllables, to me it sounds like "Et too doo et", then it starts all over.
I am using Reaper 5.62, Win10 64bit Prof., no difference if VST 2.4 or VST 3 plugin of the Play Engine is used.

I'm having the same problem with HC Gold, only worse. Neither Men nor Women WB Multis react in any way to the WordBuilder, no matter what I write or how I set the options, both of them sound five semitones lower and are in a sort of endless sustain mode, with notes stacking over and over and no way to stop them if not using the panic button.

Maybe you're loading the "infidelity" patch?

I have the same problem with men WB multi. If you look in the worldbuilder options, sound library is set to EWQL Symphonic Choirs instead of Hollywood Choirs and i cant change it. If you look in the women options it is set to te right one. What can be done?

Hi,

The MEN WB Multi in HC Gold is broken. Will be fixed shortly.

If you are also having trouble with the Women's WB multi, please make sure all your MIDI input is sending on MIDI channel 1 otherwise Wordbuilder will not trigger correctly.

Thanks,
Helen
