Default Hollywood Orchestra on Macbook Air

Hello,

I was thinking about buying Hollywood Orchestra Diamond. The problem ist, that I only have a Macbook Air and nearly no space left on my hard disk. So as far as I undersood it is possible to have the Hollywood Orchestra on a external hard drive and it is possible to run it from there?
The other problem is my Macbook Air. It is a early 2015 Macbook Air with a 1,6 GHz Intel Core i5 and 8 GB RAM.

I am aware that there is no way to use the whole Orchestra at once without freezing many tracks. But I am still not sure whether it will work or not when I freeze most of the tracks.

So if anyone got a Macbook Air and the Hollywood Orchestra Diamond, I would be thankful if you would share your experience with me.

I once had a 2012 Macbook air with 2.0GHz i7 and 8gb ram. I did run about 7 tracks of HS Diamond and froze each track along the way. I kept the library on external SSD and Audio on external HDD. It worked for me. Since the libraries are not compressed, it should be fine as the only bottle neck for streaming is the source drive and connection. If you have CPU issues, maybe track freezing or disabling reverbs until render will help.

I wouldn't even try and run it on there. You need at LEAST 16GB Ram, and external SSD's.
