I think Play 6 will be released together with Choirs for the new 11 Mic Position Setting and WorldBuilder Engine maybe? I'm looking forward to it.

yes it's on the info page of choirs, it won't support any previous versions probably because of the backend stuff going into streaming and manipulating wb stuff effeciently.

I'm kinda out of hdd space so I need to remove something, I might go and bounce all classic choir project lanes I have and remove the old version altogether, dunno yet. buying a new hdd for this pc isn't in it. out of money for such big investments now

If I were you, I'd keep the original Symphonic Choirs - for one thing, there's no boys choir in Hollywood Choirs, and I really love the sound of boys choirs. You can use them in addition to Hollywood Choirs of course.

Play 6 is a redesigned version of Play, specifically for Hollywood Choirs, though it can handle any of the other libraries as well.

There are two things I really like about Play 6:

- For Hollywood Choirs, if you choose the microphones (option for Diamond only), you can see where they were placed in the recording hall. I always like visual aids, this is helpful. I wonder if they're going to do the same thing for Hollywood Strings or any of the other Hollywood libraries. The GUI for those libraries is very different from that of Hollywood Choirs, so maybe not.

- Play 6 has a directory of all installed instruments, which makes it easier to find something. This is somewhat similar to e.g. Absynth by NI, or Omnisphere -- makes it easier to browse through thousands and thousands of patches.

PLAY 6 is free for ComposerCloud members and purchasers of Hollywood Choirs, it's $29.99 for everyone else.
