Default Mixing Feedback? - Idol

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if anyone here might like to give me a little feedback on the mix of my new track "Idol"?

I don't know too much about EQing and Compression so if anyone thinks anything sounds wrong please let me know? Otherwise I'm happy enough with it?

IDOL (SoundCloud Link)

Thanks in advance!

Hey JayP !

Great work !
It's a beautiful piece. Well done on the mix too.
You might want to add more edgy highs (not too many but just a few to give it a little air above 7 to 15KHz in a parrallel EQ on the master).

You might also want to use pan on some on the instruments (the ones with high notes / frequencies) ; it could bring a little space to the track.

Keep it up

It's really a beautiful piece.
Well done and it seems you added some balance on the frequencies, did you ? I can't compare since no other version is here and also I've changed my headphones (I know, for some it is wrong to listen to a mix with headphones but it's the most used system I'd say... anyway, that's not the point here) : again, great work !

Cheers

Hello Sebastien

Just wondering if you use Logic Pro X? I'm trying to find out how to put a parrallel EQ on the master like you said but don't see anything called "Parrallel EQ"?

Thanks
