Default How to get Reverb to Work

I'm new to EW, Play and EWQLSO. I'm using Play 6 and EWQLSO. I understand that the sound samples in EWQLSO are not recorded dry - that there is some reverb as part of the samples. With that in mind I have two questions:

1) Is there a way to reduce the amount of built in reverb in the samples so that it can be controlled more with the reverb settings in Play? If so, how is that done?

2) I've noticed that when I click the "On" button for Reverb in Play the sound does not change from when it is in the off position. Also, when I select different Reverb location settings, there does not seem to be any sound difference. In other words, changing the reverb settings does not seem to have any impact on the sounds of the samples whatsoever. This doesn't seem right. Please advise what may be occurring and how I can fix it.

Thanks!

1. Use the close mike samples.
2. Make sure you have the reverb checked, and if you can't hear the difference, play with the reverb volume.
