Default Problems with EastWest PLAY in Reaper

Hello esteemed forum users! I am in a bit of a pickle, because the Eastwest PLAY VSTi has stopped working completely for me.
Whenever I start a project in my DAW (Cockos Reaper) that has the plugin on a track, it completely shuts down.
No error message or anything like that, it just shuts down.

When I start Reaper again it starts with a completely blank project, and as long as I don't try and add the VSTi, no problem!
I have tried reinstalling it to no avail, and whenever I search the web for anything like my issue I can't find anything.

This is my computer, if it might have anything to do with this recent issue ;

Hello Greger,

which Play engine and Reaper version are you currently using?

Are you able to load the Play engine in Standalone mode?
