Arrow External mod wheel and triggers.

My primary weapon of choice is my Clavinova piano. Theres just nothing like it short of a real accoustic piano (but yeah those arent really suitable midi controllers lol). Now this piano works great as a midi controller, but it doesnt have a mod wheel or any midi assignable knobs and dials.

So what would be a good recomended third party thing I can plop on top of the grand and use for those fine fine mod/pitch articulations and triggers (I kind of want to somehow hook a bunch of trigger buttons to articulations, I figure maybe using some DAW scripting to line it up with the different instruments, not the important part of the question here though)

Hey Shayne,

depending on your price range and intents and purposes
for that controller, there's quite a lot you can get:

The Korg Microkey is small and features only a mod-wheel
and pitchbend with two octaves, but it's quite cheap:

The Korg Nanokontrol features only knobs and faders, no keyboard.

Or something like the Roland A 300 Pro.

I don't use any of them myself, since my Kawai MP7 has everything
I need, so please do a bit more research into the products.

If you've got an iPad you can pretty easy create your own custom layout controller with touchosc and the editor program.
