I know beans about MACs, so I bought an old iMAC with El Capitan on it. I also bought a second hand copy of Logic Pro 8. I found a second hand UR 22 audio interface. And guess what, I've now got a rock solid MAC/LOGIC DAW for dirt cheap. Love it !!!!!! The iMAC was upgraded to 4 gigs memory and 500 gig hard drive....plenty good enough for recording midi and audio, then transferring files to my PC for editing and storing....no it's not the latest and greatest rig available, but it's affordable and is rock solid.
