Question If I clone my hard drive, will the iLok licenses work?

I'm a Windows user.

I'm thinking of creating a bootable image (one big file) with a clone program, so if my drive crashes, I can load the backup image onto a new hard drive (on the same machine).

If I transfer a bootable hard drive image to a brand new hard drive (on the same machine), will all the iLok licenses be intact, or will iLok have problems with a new hard drive?

iLok will see that as a new location, so your license would still be in the "old" location.

You can move your license between computers using the iLok License
Manager on each device. (https://www.ilok.com/#!license-manager)

You would need to sign-in on the computer that the license is currently
activated to in order to de-activate it. This will revert the license back to being
available in your iLok Account. Then, sign-in to the License Manager on the
other computer and activate it.

Alternately, you could purchase an iLok Key and activate the license to that
device, so you just need to move the USB key to whichever computer you wish
to use.

The libraries and Play should be ported successfully, though.
