Default String sound like Lujon (Henry Mancini). Can it be done?

Hi. Im fairly new to all this. One thing Im trying to work out:

How do you bend from one note to another using hollywood strings? I want to get an effect a bit like the strings in Lujon by Henry Mancini.

I want a slow, realistic portamento. I just cant work out how to do it.

Also - am I posting this in the right place? I wasn't sure lol.

Thanks

Default

Go through the Legato/portamento patches in HS, there’s a ton of them that can do that. I also recommend reading the manual to learn how those patches operate, such as velocity to control legato speeds, etc.
